Lapsi - Festival Special Sweet Dish

- Water - 1 cup
- Coarse Whole wheat flour / Bhakhri aata - 1 cup
- Ghee - 3 - 4 tbsp
- Jaggery - ΒΌ cup, as per taste, optional
- Ghee for serving
- Castor sugar for serving
- In a pan, add wheat flour.
- Dry roast for 2 minutes.
- Remove on a plate.
- Add 2 tbsp of ghee and mix well.
- Keep it aside.
- In a pan, add water, 1 tbsp of ghee, and jaggery.
- Bring it to boil.
- When jaggery is dissolved and water is boiling, add roasted flour.
- Do not mix now.
- Make holes using a spatula, cover it, and cook on a slow flame for 5 - 7 minutes.
- Mix well and again cook on a slow flame for 7 - 8min or until done.
- If lapsi is sticking at bottom, place the pan on tawa and then cook on slow flame.
- Add ghee as per liking and add castor sugar as per taste and serve hot.
