Chole Salad | Kabuli Chana Salad Recipe

- Chole / Chana / Chickpea - 1 cup, boiled
- Onion - 1 small, chopped
- Tomato - 1 small, chopped
- Cucumber - ½, chopped
- Capsicum - ½, chopped
- Carrot - ½, chopped
- Olives - 1 tbsp
- Salt - as per taste
- Black pepper powder - ¼ tsp, as per taste
- Olive oil - 1- 2 tbsp or more
- Fresh lemon juice - 1 tbsp or more
- Crumbled paneer - ¼ cup
- Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp, chopped
- Mint leaves - 1 tbsp, chopped
- Wash chole and soak in enough water for 7 - 8 hours.
- Discard the water.
- Add soaked chole in the pressure cooker, fill with water, add salt, and pressure cook until cooked.
- Once cool down, discard the water and keep it aside.
- In a mixing bowl, add chole and all chopped vegetables of your choice.
- Add chopped coriander leaves and mint leaves.
- Mix well.
- In another bowl, add olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper powder.
- Mix well.
- In the salad bowl, add prepared salad dressing and crumbled paneer.
- Give a nice mix.
- Serve fresh or refrigerate it until further use.
