Strawberry Crush

Serves: ¾ cup
- 1 cup strawberry ( fine chopped )
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 3 – 4 drop lemon juice
- A pinch sodium benzoate
- Wash the strawberries properly, fine chop them and keep aside.
- Combine sugar and water in heavy bottom non stick pan.
- Boil the syrup to make a one thread consistency.
- Add strawberries and stir occasionally.
- If you want to keep it for a longer period in the refrigerator add a pinch of sodium benzoate to the boiling mixture. ( optional )
- Add lemon juice.
- When the mixture thickens, off the flame and leave the mixture to cool out fully before you bottle it.
- Enjoy with ice-cream or make delicious mocktails.
