Sugar Free Dates and Nuts Ladoos are the quickest and easiest sweet you can make on festival and winters. There are many variations of these dates and nuts ladoos but here I am presenting the very basic version of dates and nuts ladoos. While choosing dates for ladoos make sure dates should be large, very soft and fleshy, and have tons of fiber in them. Since dates are naturally sweet, you don’t need to sweeten these ladoos.

Ingredients
- 3 cup dates ( seedless and chopped )
- 3 tbsp ghee
- ½ cup chopped nuts ( almonds, cashews and pistachios ) ( dry roasted )
- ½ cup desiccated coconut
Instructions ( 1 cup = 250 ml, 1 tbsp = 15 ml, 1 tsp = 5 ml)
- Remove seeds and chop the dates.
- Dry roast the nuts one kind at a time until they start to brown in patches.
- Heat the ghee in a non-stick pan.

- Add the chopped nuts and blend in. Turn off heat.
- The mixture will be sticky and a bit tough to blend but keep going with your spatula and soon you will have mass of dates and nuts blended in perfectly.
- When it's cool enough to handle, make ladoos of your desired size and roll in the desiccated coconut. You can also use roasted sesame seeds, poppy seeds, etc in place of coconut.
- Serve these sugar free dates and nuts ladoo in chilled weather of winter.
