Eggless vanilla sponge cake step by step recipe :
Step 1 : Measure all ingredients and keep aside.
Step 2 : Grease the cake tin with butter and flour or line with Parchment paper.
Step 3 : In a bowl mix maida, milk powder, cooking soda and baking powder. Mix well. Sieve properly and keep aside.
Step 4 : Now you can preheat oven on mentioned temperature for 10 minutes.
Step 5 : Combine butter, sugar and vanilla essence.
Step 6 : Beat them till get white in color and fluffy.
Step 7 : Add maida mixture step by step. Beat on slow speed. In between gradually add milk.
Step 8 : Beat for 1 – 2 minutes. Do not over mix. Pour batter in a greased cake tin. Tap well to remove air bubbles.
Step 9 : Transfer the cake tin into preheated oven.
Step 10 : Bake eggless vanilla sponge cake on above mentioned temperature for 20 – 25 min or till cake get baked evenly and completely.
Step 11 : Once cake will get baked, transfer the tin on wired rack. When cool down unmold the cake. Allow it to cool completely.
Step 12 : Serve fresh vanilla sponge cake with tea or coffee or make a cake for dessert using your favorite frosting.

Hi! Can we replace butter with odourless oil?
Hi Sheetal , if you are familiar with baking then do try. If you are new then please try as mentioned or search recipe with oil because I never replaced butter with oil in this specific recipe. Thank you
