Paneer Chilli Sandwich | Veg Cottage Cheese Chilli Sandwich Recipe
Paneer Chilli Sandwich is a healthy protein-rich breakfast, weekend brunch, or lunchbox recipe that you can make in minutes. It is a lovely and mouth-watering recipe with a combination of Paneer/Indian cottage cheese with chilli sauce.
For Paneer Chilli Sandwich, a stuffing prepared using freshly grated paneer, a few chopped veggies, and spices. Spread the filling between two bread slices and toast/grill it until golden crisp.

Paneer/Indian Cottage Cheese is a favorite ingredient in my home. It is rich in protein and very nutritious. This ingredient is very versatile, and I love experimenting with it. In this Paneer Chilli Sandwich, I have used fresh homemade paneer. You can also use the store-bought paneer but make sure that it is soft and fresh.

In veggies, I used finely chopped onion, capsicum, and grated carrots. These veggies take no time to cook and give a nice crunch while eating. You can take any vegetables of your choice like cucumber, boiled corn, chopped cabbage, or tomatoes.
You can use any variety of freshly baked bread (like white, whole wheat, or multigrain bread) slices. I am using white bread. If you are making this for kids, make sure you adjust the spice level according to their taste. Serve this delicious sandwich with your favorite chutneys, ketchup, or sauces, and your favorite chips on the side.

Here is the Recipe Card or Paneer Chilli Sandwich Recipe :
- 2 Onion finely chopped
- 2 Capsicum finely chopped
- 1 carrot grated
- 2 garlic cloves grated
- 2 cup paneer grated
- ¼ cup cheese grated
- 1 – 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 3 tbsp red chili sauce or according to taste
- Salt according to taste
- 1 tsp Black pepper powder
- Chopped coriander leaves ( optional )
- 12 – 14 bread slices
- Butter
- Oil / Butter for roasting ( optional )
- In a bowl mix all the vegetables.
- Add salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Add tomato ketchup and red chili sauce. Mix well.
- Add grated paneer and cheese. Mix well.
- Spread some butter on bread slices.
- Add a scoop of stuffing.
- Enjoy it this way or grill it.
